What is Equine Assisted Learning?

To put it simply, Equine Assisted Learning is a learner-based educational experience with horses. More specifically, a horse job with an effective approach to human development that encourages individual and team growth. Participants engage in objectively driven exercises and find themselves learning valuable life skills in a fun and exciting atmosphere while working with horses - without venturing into Equine Therapy. EAL has proven to be an effective, powerful, positive, educational, and creative horse program. Our program emphasizes it’s BuildingBlock™ curriculum of facilitating life skills through positively reinforced interaction with horses.

The focus is not on horsemanship, but rather are developed to encourage self-confidence through validated, hands-on experiences.

The programs are not a bandage effect for humans; it's life changing with proven results with a 5-year research study with the University of Calgary, Saskatoon and Regina.

This program is Internationally Certified and regulated through the EAL Network.

The designer of these amazing programs took all that’s been researched on how human beings learn, and all the research that’s been done on wild horses, and brought the two together to create experiential learning programs. These programs are designed to help human beings learn and understand the changes that they need to make within themselves. Equine Assisted Learning works, because it's not the people that are the teachers, it's the horses!
